On SiteMon plans with five-minute checks, you normally know about an outage within five minutes. The alert email is sent on the first failed check rather than after several retries. Each alert classifies the cause, such as DNS failure, TLS error, unreachable origin, application error, content mismatch or certificate expiry, so the fix can start immediately.
